Speaking Engagements & School Talks

Education starts in your youth.
Whilst at University, my dissertation was focussed on body image issues among Black and Asian men. With these groups being underrepresented in research not much was known about the specific challenges that these men face relating to body image. Among the numerous findings, it was found that school was often the breeding ground for body image issues. Puberty and comparing your own bodies with those of your peers often leads to some deep rooted and negative beliefs about oneself, some of which never get addressed. Using my own experience as well as that of others, we aim to into schools, colleges and universities and speak to the boys/young men about these sensitive topics and help ease the burden that a lot of these young man feel.

Mental Health & Counselling Services

Addressing mental health early is crucial. During my research on men's mental health, a recurring issue emerged: young men often struggle silently, shaped by pressures to appear strong and unaffected. From schoolyard stress to the weight of societal expectations, these challenges can lead to lasting mental health concerns. By sharing firsthand experiences and those of others, we aim to challenge the stigma around seeking help, offering practical advice and support. Together, we can help young men understand that asking for help is not a weakness but a step towards resilience and growth.
